Amendment VII

In Suits at common law, where the value in controversy shall exceed twenty dollars, the right of trial by jury shall be preserved, and no fact tried by a jury, shall be otherwise re-examined in any Court of the United States, than according to the rules of the common law.

The 7th Amendment guarantees a jury trial in federal civil court cases, if wanted. This type of case is normally no longer dealt with in federal court.

This photo tells us that not only is it our right to have a jury of our peers but that it is also our duty to be a jury when called upon.
