Amendment III


No Soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the Owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law.


The 3rd Amendment guarantees that the army cannot force homeowners to house and/or feed soldiers.

This Picture shows a protest by people who refuse to let their right to not be forced to house unwanted troops in their houses.
